Professionalism of our staff enables parents to feel confident about their ability to provide the best possible care and education for the children entrusted into their care

I have been working in childcare since 1991 and have worked in a variety of settings. I have lived in the village for 10 years and 3 young and very active sons, a husband and a dog who keep me very busy when I am not a t work. I have been the manager at the Pre-School for 2 ½ years and the best bits about my job are working with a wonderful staff team, working closely with parents to help their children progress and be ready for school and of course spend time with the children (who make us laugh a lot!), seeing them develop and mature ready for the next stage in their lives – school.

I've lived in Stanford for over 17 years. I have two grown up sons and assortment of cats. I've worked at the Pre-School since 2005 and I've seen many changes to it over the years. I really enjoying working at Pre-School seeing the progression of the children that are with us.

Deputy manager

I'm Katie Amies a forty something married mother of two young girls and live in Stanford. Both my children attended the preschool and currently go to the local primary school. I first became a preschool assistant in January 2014 and really got into the role from being on the committee for several years. I quickly completed my level 2 in 2014 and became level 3 qualified in 2015. I am the coordinator for Equality and Diversity in the setting. I love working with preschool age children and feel honoured being a part of their learning and development. No two days are ever the same and you never know what the day or week will entail...amazing!
